Man Beast strongman events introduction to business and developing grass roots sports

  The Man Beast way…… Investing in grass roots sports is a way to build from the bottom up and give emerging talent a route to progress to bigger shows and titles ran by the pinnacle event organisers in the sport. Man Beast strongman has a few different elements to working outside the big players in the sport, the likes of Giants Live and Ultimate Strongman, by diversifying the sport into  roadshows and events in front of mass audiences. The roadshow takes the sport of strongman out to venues, business and locations to mass audiences who otherwise wouldn’t know where to watch a show or follow any of the sport other than watching it on the TV at xmas. The strength roadshow has took us out to seaside promenades pulling buses and trucks, into libraries dragging historic book cases for a media launch, lifting cars in Barnsley town centre to deadlifting 4x4 trucks for Evans Halshaw dealerships. We have also ran some team days with our athletes with a tug of war tournament...

  Ran by Man Beast strongman events, the Peak District Highland games (PDHG) goes from strength to strength as we introduce a stacked competitor list and add a women’s category to some of the events to mark the 5 th year of the show at Matlock Farm Park. Sunday 29th August 2021, 11am. Through a difficult period of covid19 and lockdown that has affected the world, and with gyms closed, the athletes are stepping up their training as we head toward the final weeks until the PDHG in a bid to increase strength and prepare the best they can. Popular athlete and two times winner of the PDHG Scott Mark Litchfield is back and is sure to be a firm favourite again narrowly missing out to Paul Smith in the 2019 PDHG. Scott Mark Litchfield Always consistently strong in every event, Scott also holds the record on the Dinnie stone hold with a time of 1 minute 8 seconds – a brutal event that normally concludes the show.
